Growing food can be sometimes challenging but thoroughly uplifting. Before embarking on this adventure, one should ask oneself the following:
- Do I love myself and those that are dependent on me, to ensure that our bodies are receiving the right nutrients for our health and wellbeing?
- Am I prepared to commit to putting in the effort to support the necessary and relevant tasks to grow food?
- Do I know where the current food that I am consuming comes from and what attributes does it depend on as to how it is grown?
- What would I do if my food resources were turned off at short notice, or if I could no longer afford them?
- Do I have a social responsibility to the future of generations to come – specifically your immediate children and family members?
